ABOUT THE ARTIST
Lauren Potts’ intimate and poetic universe narrates stories of little creatures in which the ordinary reveals unexpected elements of the extraordinary.
Potts' magic wand brings to life these little beings and sets them under a spell of rhymes and whimsy where bittersweet humour is never too far to tie the knot between the sublime and the sinister.
The liveliness and agility in her drawing combined with the audacious use of traditional materials give a unique edge to her work.
