SIEGLINDE BATTLEY

Sieglinde Battley
ABOUT THE ARTIST

German born Sieglinde Battley migrated to Australia in 1978 and has been exhibiting her quirky paintings since her arrival. Subject matter for these characteristically vibrant works is derived from Battley's own experiences in the world; places she has seen and imagined, people she has encountered, challenges both mighty and minuscule that she has faced in her unconventional life. Battley's work is held in numerous national and international collections including ArtBank, Art Gallery of Western Australia, and Fincorp Investment Bank.
